Cotton C is born inside IFF — one of the largest perfume houses in the world, the maison behind some of the most memorable fragrances of recent times. In the hands of two perfumers working together — Anne Flipo and Shinichiro Oba — Cotton C takes a form that brings different perfume traditions together in a single composition: a fruity-floral European top, sitting on an Eastern base of oud and sandalwood. A fragrance composed by bringing two perfumers’ hands to one bottle, where no single note overpowers the rest.

Cotton C opens on a note of raspberry — tart, alive, awake. It catches the senses from the first spritz without overstating the entrance. The heart settles into a Turkish rose — a Damask rose grown in Isparta, in Turkey’s lake region, with a riper, more honey-fruit profile than the classical Bulgarian rose. Then the base rests in two layers oud carrying dry smoke and resin, and sandalwood with creamy warmth on top of it.

The name “Cotton” is no accident — the composition is soft and everyday-wearable, even with oud at the base. Oud without weight, rose without classical formality. A unisex fragrance, 75ml, written for any moment of the day: a workday, an evening drive, a family gathering. The shift from tart to floral to warm reads like three phases in one day, with a Gulf sensibility that values depth and longevity.
